Salma Hayek has been included in dozens of lists cataloging the “best breasts” in Hollywood or the world. The world-famous actress is known for her breasts almost as much as she is known for her movie roles, but she reveals that she was not always quite so curvaceous. Recently on British talk show The Graham Norton Show, Hayek revealed that when she was a teenager, she actually prayed to Jesus for breasts. Like many young girls who are late to develop, Hayek was concerned that she would never actually get breasts. She suffered a great deal of teasing, and felt desperate. So, when her family was visiting a church whose saint was famous for miracles, she plunged her hands into the holy water, then touched her chests and said, according to her account, “Please, Jesus, give me some boobs.” And the results are famous. Young women everywhere should remember that as hard as it seems to endure the present if you are flat-chested or even overly endowed, it will likely get better if you just hold on. That’s part of the reason breast implants are only approved for women age 18 or older: teens are not in a good place for making lifelong decisions of this sort and their bodies have not finished developing.
