Incision options

This incision along the fold under the breast and is one to two inches long; the scar is well hidden and this procedure works with all types of implants.
Periareolar
The periareolar incision creates a scar on the areola’s lower border. This fine scar is generally almost invisible. This is often not the best method for patients with small areolas.
Axillary
The axillary incision is in the armpit where an endoscopic system is used to create the pockets that will hold the implants.
